Handmade Quilted Beary Merry Advent Calendar
Bring a cherished tradition into your home with this beautifully sewn, quilted advent calendar. Lovingly crafted with great attention to detail, each calendar is custom made using a technique similar to “stitch in the ditch,” where the quilting stitches follow the outlines of rooms and objects central to the story. The front panel is securely quilted to your choice of backing fabric, and the edges are finished with coordinating binding for a clean, professional look.
This calendar was a beloved part of our family’s Christmas season. Each day, my daughters would take turns moving the little bear to a new spot as he searched throughout the house for Christmas. He looks in the toy chest… in the attic… in the sleigh… and finally, on Christmas Eve, he finds it waiting in the living room. Years later, they were thrilled when I found this fabric again—now they’re able to share the same joy with their own children.
